The once and future Vermont Republic.

This event is FREE and open to the public.

[A community exercise in liberation theology; an exorcism of thousands of years of patriarchal spirituality; a call to consciousness and commitment; a classical protest panorama; an ecosocialist reinterpretation of the biblical creation myth; music against mass extinction and for Mother Earth, against the pipelines and for the Pachamama; with influences ranging from Bach to hip hop to chacarera.]

Join the event on Facebook here!

Donations will be collected to send to the Front Line Water Protectors now fighting the Dakota Access Pipeline and defending the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation in South Dakota.

P.S. A goodly number of the participants in this community production also participated in the First North American Ecosocialist Convergence in Barton and Glover, Vermont, August 2012. Read a report of that gathering here…

P.P.S. Ecosocialist Horizons appeared before at the Barnard Unitarian Church in February 2014, with the “Red Black and Green Revolutionary Eco-Music Tour.” See the short documentary about this performance here… (by local film-maker and “First Seven Days” choir member Anne Macksoud)
